Discovery Streaming Users

If your school district subscribes to Discovery Streaming, you can load most of these videos to your iPod touch.

http://streaming.discoveryeducation.com/



1. Log into Discovery Streaming

2. Search for Editable videos (Due to copyright: only videos marked as editable may be loaded onto the iPod)

3. Choose to download your video segment as a Quicktime file

Use iTunes with no Credit Card

One thing we've shared with our teachers is how to download free things from iTunes without having to set up an account using a credit card.

  • Log out of your iTunes account
  • Search for a free app in the iTunes Store
  • Click Get App
  • Click Create Account
  • Complete account information
  • On Method of Payment choose NONE (This is the only way this option is available.)

It was great to have so many people interested in implementing the iPod Touch in the classroom. We've had a lot of feedback from districts beginning their quest. It's exciting to explore the impact these devices can have with teaching and learning.
